In case I ever forget the correct answer for the diagram 6 ( 07:55 ), here it is:
* The racking handle is in its lowest position - the needles are NOT opposite to each other.
* The needles on the front bed are arranged in a 1:1 division.
* Both end working needles are on the back bed.
* The pushers on the back bed are arranged in a 1:1 division - 1 in working position, 1 - out of work.
* There isn't indication for the pushers on the front bed, so they must be out of work.

    Excelente expllicación de cómo funcioan los empujadores. El porqué de las flechas izquierda y derecha.

    • @ArtOfClay
      @ArtOfClay 5 годин тому

      Las teclas de flecha izquierda y derecha cambiarán las posiciones de los empujadores en momentos diferentes. Por ejemplo, digamos que la carriola está en el lado derecho de la máquina: cuando se presiona la tecla de flecha izquierda, la máquina cambiará primero las posiciones de los empujadores y luego tejerá la fila hacia la izquierda. Si se presiona la tecla de flecha derecha, la máquina tejerá la fila hacia la izquierda y luego, en la segunda fila, moverá primero los empujadores y después tejerá. El patrón o la imagen que se va a tejer define qué tecla de flecha se debe presionar para que la máquina seleccione los empujadores correctos en el momento adecuado.

    Recién terminé de volver a ver detenidamnte el video de los Diagramas. Estuve tomando nota de toda la información que contiene, información completa y detallada de todo lo necesario para entender y decifrar los diagramas que nos presentan los manuales de máquina de tejer. Cada información graficada de manera clara y perfecta. El contenido de ésta va de menor a mayor complejidad hasta abarcar todo por completo. Además abre el horizonte mostrando otro tipo de diagrama o de entrega de información a través de medios de comunicación. Video Redondo, osea perfecto. Gracias Alexander. Atenta a tus próximos videos y siempre revisando y consultando los anteriores. Chapeau pour toi.

    Hi can you please tell me where does that broken white part go that you showed in the beginning of the video. Thanks

    • @ArtOfClay
      @ArtOfClay День тому

      Hi! The white part is used to open the jaws when the lock is moved towards the color changer. In the video, the broken part I showed at the beginning is specifically for the color changer that has only 2 eyelets. This part must be slid into the metal rail on the back bed before installing the color changer. The same part for the color changer with 4 eyelets, which is already installed in the video, comes with a metal plate on top and several screws. However, the other part just needs to be slid into the rail. You can see at 0:43, the mounted one is for the larger color changer, and the one I am holding should be used with the smaller one. Hope this helps!

    In the ABC BOOK it talks about when and why to break the needle rule. That would make a great follow up video to this. Well done. I am genuinely impressed. This was well researched before making the video. Some of the different symbols you showed for needles and pusher placement found in various publications were the limitations of technology available to self publishing at the time. Many early pattern instructions and diagrams were typed on a regular typewriter vs being typeset by a publishing house. Knitting by hand or machine has been a grass roots activity of home and cottage businesses for many generations. The ingenuity, creativity, and self determination of knitters around the world has been a true halmark of character. Engineers, designers, and creaters have long favored this special machine knitting system even though there are many to choose from. Many thanks for all you do in making these videos to explain and share your hard earned knowledge. You are one in a billion.

      Thank you for your kind comment! ❤ I've even seen some diagrams drawn by hand in old publications. It must have been really challenging to design and print a publication without any mistakes from the very first try. People worked incredibly hard back then. I have a short video about needle arrangement with tuck patterns. Is that the topic you were referring to?

    Thank you so much ,but why is my machine cutting threads whenever I try to sew clothes

    • @ArtOfClay
      @ArtOfClay 18 днів тому

      There could be several reasons for this. Firstly, check the thread tension to ensure it is set correctly. Also, verify that the thread you are using is suitable for your machine and in good condition-not dried out or weakened (maybe try a different spool). If the thread on the lower looper breaks, double-check that it is threaded correctly. I hope this helps you resolve the issue.
